I'm happy you've asked! It's such a neat roleplay form, it's a shame so many people haven't heard of it. Like any roleplay, there are different variantions and ways to play, so I will just be telling you how our forum rolls.

Also sometimes called a pic roleplay or a doodle roleplay, a summary of an art roleplay is this:


          An art roleplay is a standard roleplay, however instead of or in addition to writing what your character does, you also draw what your character does. Sometimes these kinds of roleplays have little to no text and most everything in in the art (such as what your character is saying). Other times you still write a normal roleplay post, but it's accompanied by a drawing of your character doing something in the roleplay.


So there you have it - what an art roleplay is! (Don't worry - I'm still getting to the "what if I can't draw" part). And if you're still confused or would like to see an example of an art roleplay, here's a demonstration of what one could like!

There you have it! So what if you're still intrigued by all this, but you just think, I can't draw to save my life! I only draw stick-people, no way can I draw my character interacting with other people!

Well, there are three answers:
1. We honestly encourage and welcome everyone regardless of their skill! After all, you have to start somewhere, and what a fun way to practice!

2. There are some special art rules in our Rulebook for those who don't want to draw a lot.
